I founded Dash with the aim of bringing the rigorous editorial discipline I brought to editing award-winning books to all manner of communications; time and again I come across publications, communications and marketing materials that aren’t effective because the language they use is not clear. Many times a lot of expense has gone into preparing these materials, but that effort is lost if the message isn’t communicated clearly.

So often, a simple proofread would make a huge difference to the effectiveness of a communication. If you want you customers to trust you, they need to trust in your attention to detail; careless mistakes in language undermine customer trust.

My broad background: I am an editor, former lawyer and graphic design studio manager, all of which has given me a passion for communication. I understand the importance of getting things just right, but I also understand commercial realities.
